VIBEEIT Privacy Policy
This policy explains the categories of personal data VIBEEIT may collect, why it is used, when it may be shared, and the choices available to members and website visitors.
Before publishing: replace {LEGAL_ENTITY_NAME} and {REGISTERED_ADDRESS}, confirm the actual app data flows and vendors, and have this policy reviewed by a qualified lawyer and privacy professional.
1. Overview
VIBEEIT is operated by {LEGAL_ENTITY_NAME} (“VIBEEIT”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). This Privacy Policy applies when you use the VIBEEIT mobile application, vibeeit.com, customer support, surveys, promotions, and related products or services (together, the “Services”).
VIBEEIT is designed to help adults discover people, create one-to-one plans, agree on activities, places, and time slots, communicate, and meet in the real world. Some information must be visible to other members for these features to work. This policy describes those disclosures and other processing.
2. Personal data we collect
Information you provide
- Account details such as name, phone number, email address, date of birth, login credentials, and authentication records.
- Profile information such as photos, gender or identity information you choose to provide, preferences, interests, prompts, languages, education, work, and “looking for” selections.
- Plans and requests, including activity, description, preferred place, time slot, availability, request status, and people connected to the plan.
- Messages, support requests, reports, feedback, survey answers, and other content you submit.
- Purchase and subscription information. Complete payment-card details are normally handled by the relevant app store or payment provider rather than stored directly by VIBEEIT.
Information generated when you use the Services
- Device, browser, app version, operating system, identifiers, IP address, language, time zone, crash, diagnostic, and security logs.
- Feature activity such as profiles or plans viewed, requests sent or accepted, settings used, notification interactions, and timestamps.
- Call and communication metadata, such as participants, time, duration, connection quality, and abuse-prevention signals. The policy must be updated if VIBEEIT records or transcribes call content.
- Approximate or precise location when enabled, as explained below.
- Cookie and similar-technology information from the website.
3. Profile and live verification data
VIBEEIT may ask you to complete a live camera or photo verification step to help determine whether the person using an account matches the profile. Depending on the verification technology actually deployed, this may involve verification images, video frames, facial geometry, liveness signals, device signals, or a verification result.
The final published policy must identify whether VIBEEIT or a verification provider processes biometric data, the legal basis, storage period, deletion process, and the provider’s role. Do not state that a verification image is deleted immediately unless the production system has been confirmed to do so.
A verification badge or status is only a trust signal. It does not guarantee a member’s identity, background, intentions, or safety.
4. Location and place information
With device permission, VIBEEIT may collect approximate or precise location to show nearby profiles, plans, places, distance, local recommendations, and location-based safety or fraud controls. You can manage location permission in device settings, although disabling it may limit features.
Other members may see an approximate distance, city, or area rather than your exact device coordinates. A place selected for a plan may be visible to the person or people permitted to see that plan. Avoid using a private home address as a first-meeting location.
5. How we use personal data
| Purpose | Examples |
|---|---|
| Provide the Services | Create accounts, display profiles, match plans or people, manage requests, enable messages and calls, show places, and deliver notifications. |
| Trust and safety | Verification, moderation, report review, fraud and scam prevention, spam detection, account security, and enforcement of rules. |
| Personalisation and improvement | Rank relevant profiles, plans, and places; understand feature use; troubleshoot; test; and improve performance. |
| Communication | Send service messages, safety notices, support responses, policy updates, and marketing where permitted. |
| Payments and business operations | Process purchases, prevent payment abuse, maintain records, audit systems, and administer partnerships. |
| Legal compliance | Respond to lawful requests, preserve evidence, resolve disputes, protect rights, and comply with applicable law. |
The appropriate legal basis depends on the country and processing activity and may include performance of a contract, consent, legitimate interests, legal obligation, or protection of vital interests.
6. Information visible to other members
VIBEEIT is a social discovery and meetup service. Profile information, photos, prompts, interests, approximate distance or city, verification status, and plan details may be shown to other members based on your settings and the feature used. Messages and call content are visible to participants.
Do not post passwords, financial information, government identifiers, home addresses, private workplace access details, or information about another person without permission. A recipient may save or share information you disclose even when VIBEEIT rules prohibit misuse.
7. When personal data may be shared
- Other members: to operate profile discovery, plan matching, requests, messages, calls, and meetups.
- Service providers: hosting, cloud infrastructure, communications, analytics, customer support, moderation, verification, security, payments, and app distribution.
- Business and venue partners: only where needed for a feature, promotion, booking, offer, or partnership you use, with appropriate notice.
- Authorities and safety recipients: when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect a person, investigate suspected harm, enforce terms, or defend legal rights.
- Corporate transactions: in a merger, financing, acquisition, restructuring, insolvency, or sale of assets, subject to applicable safeguards.
- With your direction or consent: when you intentionally share information or authorise a connection.
The production policy should name or link to material categories of third-party processors and explain advertising or cross-context behavioural tracking if those technologies are used.
8. Retention, deactivation, and deletion
VIBEEIT keeps personal data for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, maintain account security, meet legal and accounting requirements, investigate reports, prevent repeat abuse, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods differ by data category.
Deactivation is intended as a temporary pause and may preserve account data. Deleting the app from a device does not delete the account. Account deletion can be requested through app settings or privacy@vibeeit.com. Some information may remain for a limited period in backups, safety records, transaction records, legal holds, or fraud-prevention systems.
9. Security
VIBEEIT uses administrative, technical, and organisational measures intended to protect personal data, such as access controls, encryption where appropriate, logging, monitoring, secure development, and vendor review. No system can guarantee absolute security.
Protect your device and login credentials, use unique passwords where applicable, never share one-time codes, and notify support if you suspect unauthorised account access.
10. International processing
VIBEEIT and its service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. When required, VIBEEIT will use contractual, organisational, or other legally recognised safeguards for international transfers.
11. Your privacy choices and rights
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, withdrawal of consent, information about processing, or review of certain automated decisions. You may also have the right to complain to a data-protection authority.
Use in-app settings for profile, permission, notification, discovery, deactivation, and deletion controls. For a formal privacy request, email privacy@vibeeit.com from the account email and describe the request. VIBEEIT may need to verify identity before acting and may refuse or limit requests where permitted by law.
12. Age restriction
VIBEEIT is intended only for adults aged 18 or older. The Services are not directed to children. If you believe a person under 18 has created an account or provided personal data, report the account and contact safety@vibeeit.com.
13. Cookies and similar technologies
The website may use essential cookies for security and functionality and, depending on the final configuration, analytics or marketing technologies. The cookie banner and policy must accurately reflect the tools active on vibeeit.com, including Elementor, analytics, advertising pixels, embedded media, and consent-management services.
You can manage non-essential cookies through the website consent tool where provided and through browser settings. Blocking some technologies may affect functionality.
14. Changes to this policy
VIBEEIT may update this policy as the Services, vendors, or legal requirements change. The “Last updated” date will identify the current version. Material changes may also be communicated in the app, by email, or through another prominent notice where required.
